Variegated Pittosporum- Easy care, delight to sight!

 Pittosporum Variegated


  • It botanical name is Pittosporum( piToh spo rum) tobira ( toh by ra) 'Variegata'. It's other names are Pittosporum tobira, Japanese Pittosporum, Japanese Mock Orange, Japanese Cheesewood, Australian Laurel. Belongs to Pittosporaceae family. Local name is the same.
  • It is a ornamental shrub but could grow into a tree over decades. Conducive to Lahore climate and soil. (USA Hardiness Zone (8a- 10b/ 11).
Grown for foliage.  Leaves are spirally arranged.
